Daytona Beach

Volusia County is but a short drive away and the Worlds Most Famous beach is a day trip made by many locals. The Daytona International Speedway with its exciting hands on NASCAR experience and the Richard Petty Driving Experience make it a day fun for the whole family.

Daytona has some great exciting events, such as NASCARs Daytona 500 (February), Bike Week (March), Pepsi 400 (July), and Biketoberfest (October).

Cocoa Beach

Drive due east to hit the Space Coast, and the beautiful white sands of Cocoa Beach, the same one made famous by I dream of Jeanie. Take a day at the beach of visit NASA, and see the huge buildings that house the space ships of past and present.

Tampa/St. Pete
Driving west for a bit will take to the Tampa, St. Pete area, with its pristine beaches, Busch Gardens and quaint shopping areas on the coast. Just and hour and a half away, even the other side of the state is within reach from the Remington Inn & Suites in Altamonte.
